Could you tell me where is the option to change the apps, I tried holding down the apps widget but didn't do anything.

No.

Because I'm talking rubbish, sorry ( I was confusing android Auto and the onboard apps. I had a look just now and there's no way I can see to add or delete anything.

Thats phone apps in car play, I am talking about the built in ones on the 2nd screen on the Trophy model. The dealers car had 4 apps there I have 3 which makes me think I have different software to his car.

S5 SE and the trophy don't have the same features. Trophy has build in YouTube, Spotify, and 2 more apps that SE doesn't have.

Yes,although i don’t have Amazon music on mine hence why I think it needs a software update.

Thank you very much as I suspected my car is at R22 version on the MPU.

Going to be an interesting conversation with the general manager at the dealer I think tomorrow. I suspected very little had been done to prepare the car for me as there were bits of plastic still covering things, the coating they applied had not been polished off properly with multiple bits of plastic covered in white powdery residue and I had to ask for the type 2 cable to be put in the boot as they forgot.

You've tried the over air software update yes? top choice on that screen.

yes just tried that, says it is up to date... Have just sent an email about this and a whole load of other issues with the dealer to the General Manager tonight...be interesting to see how they respond.
