On the MG stand the IM5 and 6, sat in them both, each have a 20 speaker audio systems that deliver great sound.
The MGS5 is looking good too in that lush red, and a range that's a cut above the contenders from BYD, Geely, and Changan. Most of which only manage between 240 to 250 miles whereas the MGS 5 is sporting 288 miles.

The Kia PV5 that will send ripples through
the commercial sector by undercutting the opposition significantly when officially released here in all its forms.

And probably the maddest arrangement of levers, paddles, switches, and controls on the Renault 5 and 4.

The PV 5 looks interesting, it could maybe replace my surfwagon, but it gives no load space lengths.
Masts are 4.3m and boards 2.4m, probably cheaper to get another used MG4 and put roof racks on it.

Well done for bringing a little card with you to indicate MGEV forum membership!

Brand analysis
Unsurprisingly, all the energy was coming from the lesser known brands, particularly Chinese.

BYD had the biggest stand, along with MG and Hyundai (not Kia).

Geely, Changan, Volvo (also Geely) and Tesla had big stands.

Ford and Renault were there, the only older legacy brands.

Most of the other brands (Stellantis, GM and VW group) were just represented by static cars at the Octopus stand.

Nissan sent a guy to stand by the static Micra and Leaf to talk about them!

@Bam Bam, said "Nissan sent a guy to stand by the static Micra and Leaf to talk about them!"
I do like the look of the new Nissan Leaf, like a smaller version of the Ariya, and believe it will be built in Sunderland.
The Micra is a Renault 5 under the skin in another collaboration between the two companies.

I noticed that both the Leaf and the Micra on display were left hand drive. I know the latter is made in France but the former is made in Sunderland!
They are being made in Sunderland and Japan, though Japan is also RHD!

The initial reviewers seem to be undertaken in Europe so maybe they made LHD versions for the initial launch.

They will be looking to sell it in Europe and the USA after all, so really need a drop in UK tariffs.
