Stoneacre Doncaster - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

Bought my used 70 Plate MG ZS Ev Excite from Stoneacre MG Doncaster on the 12th May 2022, as it was the nearest dealer with a used Excite in Red. So we are now just over 3 weeks into my ownership. Stoneacre managed to sell me a car that had a broken windscreen wiper blade, hadn't had its service registered on the MG DSR, hadn't had the infotainment software campaign done and had a steering column knock that required a new steering column.
Suffice to say that there have been numerous phone calls and emails to the dealership regarding these issues (the infotainment campaign and steering column fixed under warranty by my local MG Dealer Charles Warner, see other review). Stoneacre did eventually after much badgering get me a replacement wiper blade sent out and have updated the service records on the MG DSR system. Also managed to get Stoneacre to admit liability for their failings and they have agreed to pay for my next service at Charles Warner in Lincoln.
My conclusion is that for Stoneacre MG Doncaster, BUYER BEWARE!!

I bought my ZS this time last year (Birmingham).
Where I bought it from let me down a bit but Stonacre Doncaster put it right.
When I was sold the car a few verbal promises were not met, one of them being a software update.
Stonacre Doncaster updated the car and gave it a health check.

Because it is an EV I decided to take out a 3 year service plan and now after a year of owning it and travelling 20,000 miles in it I had the service and MOT.

It wasn't exactly plain sailing, they forgot to book it in for the MOT but they apologised, gave me a curtesy car and did it the next morning.

I have no complaints, the staff were polite, professional and the car is good for another year.
26,000 miles, 3 years and the battery state of health is 98%.
