My mate's just bought an ID Buzz. I'm impressed, I'd like to trade the current surf wagon in on the cargo.
They aren't selling well here and they got a $20,000 discount.
Is there any word of why they aren't selling?
Is it just the Chinese undercutting them? Or is there a problem?

Even with the big discount, it's probably too expensive for me.
Plus I'm not sure how much longer I'll be windsurfing, there's only a few others older than me still sailing.
Only 7 people in our comp over 80 and just 1 left at 83.

Looks nice. and probably cheaper, even with $20K knocked off the ID Buzz.
But it's about a year away, however I'll have a better idea of how long I'll last by then

I'm impressed

No experience of the Buzz, but we're very impressed with our brace of VW ID EV's - I think they all use the underlying VW MEB platform. The 77kWh capacity in the '4' gives impressive range and the range of the 58kWh in the '3' is not to be sniffed at

I guess the literal update would be;
"Travelling in a 77kWh SWB passenger"
Not as appealing as the original, and you'd have to come up with a different rhyme for for passenger.

Thanks guys, but I'm cooling on the idea. I'm off to Albany today, (400km away), for 4 days of windsurfing. That should test my stamina, and I'll check out charging stations enroute.
Those two factors help with the decision
