Yep, seems so. Bit surprised they used a button as it is an obvious weakness, mind you plenty of premium cars with sliding pop-out handles are embarrassed by a frost!

Button indeed requires whole new handle which needs painting etc. Will be a few weeks until it's delivered, painted and installed.
