What do these Icons mean on my IM6

What does the icon mean above the 60? Something to do with cruise control and also, how do I turn these off, they appear every time I drive!! Lee

The manual suggests it's the Intelligent Drive System status indicator lamp, it'll probably illuminate orange or red if there's a fault.
