Well, it was to be mince and tatties tonight. I made the mince last night and, for quickness I opened a pack of rice and it was good. Tonight my plans are all upside down.
You see what happened was I had a jaunt over to Livingston today and decided to come home over the Bathgate hills. Half way over an oncoming car kind of forced me to go a bit more over to the near side than I wanted to. The rear near side wheel went into a hole that some twit left lying about. So I now have a shredded tyre. The alloy wheel has a bit of scratching at least. Luckily I shunned the gloop and pump and bought a spare wheel and tyre so that’s now fitted and brought me safely home. I’ll be investigating the situation tomorrow/ Monday.
Now, where’s that mince ? Can I be bothered to boil a few tatties and a bit of turnip to complete the feast ??
