What does this white circle around the car signify?

Helicopter hovering above, you're in the spotlight.

Represents the radar, I believe. You'll sometimes see messages that the vehicle behind is too close or you are hurtling towards a stationary vehicle - I presume that it's all linked.

Indeed shows the radar stuff, and it turns blue when MG Pilot is driving and all is well.
