WIFI Connection

I can get the car to connect to my home wifi but it does not reconnect when i return home. In fact not sure how long it actually stays connected. Is this the norm?

Same as my car, I do activate it several times, and have never turned it off myself. Maybe not related, but someone asked about the radio player not showing icons and song info. When I activated the Wifi in the car today, then icons and song information came up. But need to test this some other times, as I am not sure it is related.

I connected mine around 1030 this morning then locked the car. Just checked again now and the wifi was again switched off…….I wonder how long it stays on - maybe just long enough to see if there is any data to download?
