Sun paints calm on glass and steel—
Tranquil road whispers.

I only Googled it to see if the examples here were conformant .. a traditional Haiku is 17 words in a 5 7 5 format, but there are many variations now which are still accepted as Haiku.

Absolutely, the version that came up was 5, 7, 5 but syllables not words.
