I know it’s winter in the uk, but I do tend to have my sunroof open still from time to time. I’ve noticed that the sunroof wind deflector is always wet - is this normal? My car stays outside so with all the rain we have it’s not surprising. I just wondered if the water is supposed to make the wind deflector wet. Is yours the same?

Do you think it could be condensation .when the roof is closed i guess the deflector is touching or the nearest thing to the cold glass

I've owned my ZS EV 14 months and never had this problem.

Thanks for your suggestion. As far as I can tell there is a rubber seal that fits around the sunroof aperture to seal it when the roof is shut. The wind deflector sits outside this seal and so is possibly exposed to water that gets through to the drain channel around the sunroof. I’m getting the feeling it’s normal that it gets water on it but I wanted to check. It seems some are saying they’ve not experienced it though.

I used to get a lot of condensation on the car windows late at night when I was younger but as you get older you run out of steam!
Did your wind deflector get wet? 🙃

My sunroof deflector was soaking again today after the overnight storms. Opened the roof slightly as it’s now a lovely sunny day. I’ve had another look around and can’t see anything obvious - I’m really thinking that this is quite normal. 🙂

Surely it must be a slight leak if it is wet the morning after a storm .i hope not but it seems that way to me .

That’s what I initially thought. But others have said there’s is wet too. The deflector sits outside the main sunroof seal and I think that it might be normal to get wet - although I’m not sure! It looks like water is allowed into the channel where the deflector sits.

Checked mine tonight and it was wet. It does seem like it could be normal to me. Wonder if it's only really noticeable to those whose car remains outside all the time and not garaged overnight?
