yes hotter than it has been in hull in a few years. If im being honest I really struggle to find anything on the electronic manual. Im an old school type like to read from a book you turn pages. Is there any form of troubleshooting within the owners manual ?

Car charging and the cooler fan has started. Is this normal

its ok when I got mine 1st time I plugged it in I could not take the charger off even after unlocking was basically a tight charger cable or tight connector on the car. but after a few side to side wiggles I am now able to easily remove it also put a bit of WD 40 on both sides of connections.

apparently not sadly I have spoken to the local dealer and it can only be done using the machines they have. However as my car is new and has been supplied without the latest once they have the equipment in early August they have offered to do the update FOC.

must admit earlier this week I had scheduled a charge and it came up at about 11.30 to say your car may not be fully charged at the agreed time. Then seem to think next day my charger was saying cannot communicate directly with the car do you want to add the 75% or whatever I had programmed in...

also say to him well why the fudge don't MG publish any bloody information about software versions for cars then so we actually do have a clue ? surely it isn't that hard for them to have a release notes and bug fixes listing for all software versions as they would know exactly what they have...

exactly like you say everyone mentions the one which is infotainment version unless we should be looking somewhere else for the software which controls the favourite buttons etc.

mine is on V49. all 3 of those elements work so I might leave it for now until it gets its annual service. wouldn't mind, I much prefer using cruise control, but do not need it to auto slow down etc. as I am awake when using it !!

so did you get on latest version and if so what is it and are all bugs fixed ? I am running V49 of the software and touchwood do not seem to have any issues can set cruise control - though I hate the adaptive cruise control starts braking / slowing when I am about 50 yards behind the car in...

software updates - can you download them to a usb drive and then install these yourself or does it have to go to the dealer to do it ? got loads of USB drives etc. just need to know if you can self install or does it really need to go to the dealer ?

similar click the car bit then mg pilot tab, turno off top audible warning bit then scroll to the bottom and turn off the distraction audible and fatigue audible !! job done.about 20-30 seconds in total. Its not a massive issue, a shame they cannot give you an ability to save default settings...

I experienced similar once - after about 20 seconds it auto corrected itself - hoping to not see again.

So my iSmart app reads that the battery level is 71% - has anyone ever at this level gone ok add 30% and what would happen ? Also what level do people recommend charging to: 75%, 80%, 90% or 100%? Just trying to understand before I lower the life of the battery.
