first day with HS PHEV

Has anyone found that swiping the screen to the left to get to the settings is not quite as responsive, my ZS hybrid+ was very quick. Also noticing when approaching any obstacles from the front the warning sound isn't activating, but does when I put it into reverse to move away. Is there a setting for this that I need to activate?

From what I've experienced personally, and what I've read on here, that is par for the course on both counts. Front parking sensors only activate when reverse gear is selected, and touch screen response generally is a little laggy.

After 1500 miles I'm really enjoying driving this car now. It took a bit of getting used to but it feels good in the corners. Definitely think "Normal" steering mode is the way to go, and "Sport" mode for the throttle response.

My current most irritating feature is the indicator sound still is too intrusive. If that could be tuned down in tone it would be so much more pleasant.

I had a similar problem but because I turned the volumes to 2 (in settings) the indicator sound was reduced as well as the bings and bongs which was my intention. I turned it to max and that was too loud. Somewhere in the middle is about right for me; but you will get the right level for you by trial and error.

I didnt realise you can adjust those volumes.

It is kind of hidden
Swipe left
Select settings
On the rhs shows genera, Bluetooth, WLAN etc
Swipe up in that area to find volume settings
Alter vehicle information tone
Hope that helps.

Hi herandnu do you find driving in sport mode uses the battery up quicker or do you use it just as a quicker get away like for overtaking and from lights etc?

I only use it in hybrid mode at the moment. Also I don't tend to accelerate hard. I just feel the throttle is more responsive to small movements of the pedal in sport mode, which I prefer.

Was passing my dealer this week and popped in as I was having same problem with the swiping of the screen to get to settings etc being laggy. My salesman tried it and no problem, I was swiping with 4 fingers whereas you are only suppose to swipe with 1, ever since I have had no problem with it. ☝️🤭

I use the left star key to flip from high to low regen and on mine it does stay to what is selected on shut down/start up.

I do seem to recall that if you cycle through the various drive modes, 'comfort' (or whatever it's called) puts it into low regen. I may have made that up though - I'll check tomorrow. My start up routine is set 'sport', switch off the lane assist (well, to 'alert') and kill the distraction monitoring, so I never cycle through the various drive modes.

Right star key gives me control between EV and HEV.

Welcome to the ex-Skoda iV drivers....! On the boot front, my Superb was a hatch and I use the boot mat in the MG. It's about 6-7" shorter in the MG, exactly the same width and the MG boot is deeper. I prefer the ride in the MG (my iV was a Sportline with electric shocks - wallowy or ok but quite stiff), handling and road handling is very good on the MG.
Also use left star button for regen use right for the 360 camera
