I am changing my Trophy for a Kia EV3, the MG was class leading at the time but not any longer. Too many software issues and poor multimedia control, after 2.5 years I still have not figured out how to work the radio! Also the trade in value is awful. I'm leasing the next car, I know exactly...
Yes, mine is cracking, small thin cracks that we used to call crazing. The dealer said it was accident damage which I refused to accept. He photographed it said that he we submit it to MG. I wait for an answer.
I have been advised by my dealer that there is an LKA update available, it is going in for a service in April so it can be done then.
Does anybody know what it does? There has been talk of an update since Which the consumer mag castigated the violence of it!
I have a MG4 Trophy and a Tesla 12.5kWh Powerwall home battery. Having a fairly power hungry home ( have a Heat pump) this cold weather finds me using all the home battery power by early afternoon (having charged at the cheap overnight rate on IOG) so I spend the rest of the day paying full...
This has happened to me 3 or 4 times. Going round a parked car the nose of the car is pointing at the opposite carriageway, with the result that if a vehicle is approaching from the opposite direction the AEB will activate violently without warning as it deems the oncoming vehicle as a hazard.
How do I find out which software number do I have? I found it before when I was on R33 but I cannot find it now (I have probably forgotten where to look) DOH!
Had the sotware updated on the service and somethings have changed, but I wanted the updated AC screen with the bigger icons, well, I did not get that but when I turn on the cruise control the power steer pump stops and the steering gets very heavy. Needless to say it's going back and they have...
Well I am amazed at this talk of R40, R46, R59, my Dealer says that the latest software for my Trophy is R33 which was installed May last year and that's it. I complained about the heater icons being to small but apparently what I have is all there is! I am buggered if I know.
Where do I go from...
I used the V2L and monitored it, found the car used so much power to convert the DC from the battery to AC for the home that at the end of the day there was almost no saving, even having charged the car on Octopus GO at 9p per kWh my power bill for February was almost the same as last year...
This is all very confusing! My Trophy was serviced last week and some software was upgraded but the thing I wanted upgraded the most was the heater controls which have come back the same. The software number is still R33. Should it have been R46 and does it include the larger heater icons?
I have just had my first service and I had expected the software to be updated but my disappointment my heater controls have not changed and I discover that I am still on R33.
Should this have been upgraded to R46, which I believe includes the bigger heater control icons.
As an update the...
So, to be clear, you are happy to let the ACC with all it’s driveability faults (see comments above) take control of the vehicle while you do something else? I like to think that I am in control of the vehicle at all times and I have never allowed cars with conventional cruise control to drive...
