No, it won't. If I run it down to around 15%, it'll need an 85% charge to get it up to 100%, which on the granny charger, I calculated, will take over 18 hours. That's 43 kWh at 2.3kW. It's too long to have the car out of action, so I'll leave the job until I've got a 7kW charger.

No. No typo. 2.3kW for 7 hours adds 2.3 x 7 kWh = 16.1 kWh.

It sounds to me like a speaker problem. If the bass speakers are poor, accoustically, you're not going to improved it with settings. Somehow, you need to fit better base speakers.
