Yes had the same issue, at first the dealership do not want know saying it was through external force! Did my research and found that a lot of other people had the same issue so wrote a strong letter to mg customer service and after some back and forth correspondence with mg got it replaced...

Complain to mg customer services, I did and they replaced it

Yes really regret getting my mg4 on my companies salary sacrifice scheme for the same reasons about plus bad build quality issues ie like cracking in the rear led tailgate. Complain to mg but just get gaslighted or fobbed off

Yes your in the Australia, mg customer services here are a bit more picky, having said that the transparent perpex is quite prone to cracking

To find out ! If they don’t will cost 530 pounds to replace , did you have the same issue?
