Removing Rear light

Hi Trying to change out the rear light on an MG4 have got the light out but cant see how the grey/white electrical connector separates. If anyone knows any advice would be great.

Squeeze the outer edges of the grey part (top and bottom in the photo) so that those white side ridges clear the grey plastic?

Thanks had a go, found out it was really simple put a flat blade screw driver in the top between grey and white parts pushed down and twist came apart. May not be correct but works. They're all different.

Hello timD ,how did you manage to take thé rearlight if you took any pics as i want broke the left one at the back and wanted to know how to take it out thank you Guillaume

Any one know how to remove the mg4 tailgate light unit ? Help , pics would be helpful

Hi Also having prolems with the cable connector just cannot separate grey/white connector. Do they just pull apart?
