My MG5 LR is only charging at 3kW instead of 7kW from my wall charger. It is as slow as the 13 amp granny charger. Wall charging is set to 32 amp. Any ideas anyone what wrong or where is the fault. I expect car to charge to 80% in about 8 hrs but it’s taking about 16/18 hrs.

1) I charged the car overnight last week when it was very hot 28C. The next morning noticed the car was showing 265m available when it is only meant to give you 250m. This is on Economy as I always drive on Eco mode. 2) Also anyone know how to make sure every time I switch on the car it goes to...

I can understand if the correct hardware chips etc are not there

Because the computer chips etc are already on board included in the Vehicle control management chip. Just like the iPhones get se updates same should apply here. This is what I was implying

It should not be a big problem for the manufacturer to update the software to do this on the MG 5 exclusive

When will there be an App like the MG iSMART available for MG5 EV Exclusive. I wasted many hours tried to bind the phone app to the car but then was told by dealer it’s not for the MG5 EV. So what’s happening on this front ?

Exactly the problem I am having for a few days. Still can’t see or find QR code anywhere
