Important Questions before receiving MG3 Hybrid Luxury?

although 19x bhp sounds nice, but we have to remember this car also weigh 1.4+ tonnes. it wasnt that long ago a full size saloon/sadan weigh this much, so bhp per tonne is not as high as it seems. Also, all 19X bhp is only avaliable if you are at the right speed. the motor themself is only in...

my past experience is bosch does a better job when they are new. better fit and better wipe, but doesnt last as long as michelin's. Michelin is always avaliable in costco, so thumbs up from me. Rain X seems to only last about 2 weeks for me. i now use Meguiars glass polish and sealant. seems...

MG3 Hybrid mpg claims, how reliable?

just did a refuel. 19.07L, 263.3 miles. comes out to be 62.77 mpg. but the onboard computer says 56 mpg. seems like mines under-report the mpg figures.

    Expected tyre misery - again!

see this all the time but as someone used to work in the car industry, i can tell you, definitely no. when you do any sudden/emergency braking, if you have two different tyres, they will give you different braking power/distance, this means at some point the car will pulled to one side. even the...

    Juddering Wipers

i think they went cheap with the ones that came with the car. i took over ownership at the car 6 months old and they were terrible no matter how much i tried to clean them/glass. i even polish the glass and still no good. a trip to costco and got a pair of Michelin's and problem free since.

    Modifications

For those who interested in taking the car apart, i struggle to find good information, so i just went int blind. this is the passenger front door. as i modify, i will share more photos, may be helpful to some in the future. For door card itself, go onto ebay and search for spare parts, they...

    Modifications

On the back i have a Darth Vadar baby on board. on the side, due to street parking, i wanted something that tell people to keep their distance when passing but not so serious, so i got a Lego tag. There is also a "powered by the dark side" on the roof spoiler but it's sliver-on-sliver, so...

    Modifications

will post some pictures later. did a few things so far: 1, added window fender for rainy days without have to reply so heavily on air-con 2, change the tyres to Goodyear Vector4 Season Gen 3 with XL side wall. running 36psi front, 34 psi back. single most transformative modification so far...

    Tyre size

thanks! 4.1% is indeed abit much. Normally 2-3% is ok. Although, i didnt quite get the speedo readout why it is slower with larger diameter. Normally speedometer counts revolutions then multiply with a pre-set diameter, so i would expect when speedometer read 30mph the car is actually going,say...

    Tyre size

Hi all, New here. Just took ownership of a trophy hybrid plus, quite enjoying the drive so far. I tend to run all season tyres as i visit other places that may need 3 peak marking. I notice the 195 55r16 isnt very common. Both crossclimate and vector4 season offer this size but it’s quite abit...
