I'm in the lucky position that I only consume 0.5kWh during the day due to my home battery system that I charge off peak every night. The extra 2 hours gives me the chance to do laundry and use the dishwaher off peak in the morning which reduces the demand on the home battery.

Eon off peak of 6.9p is for 7 hours vs 5.

I took my covers off at over 1k miles and there was very little brake dust on the alloys and it was very easy to rinse off. Unlike my ICE vehicle that needs the brake dust washed off the alloys every week/200 miles.

Personally I would not paint the covers in the body colour as Im not sure it enhances the look. Perhaps if they were a graphite colour they would look less like covers. I'm still happy without them and can always put them back on to revert to OEM.

The original trims come off fairly easily. With a pair gloves on, put your fingers either side of a trim spoke, pull until it pops out, repeat on the remaining 4 spokes. No levers or screwdrivers required. At least I can access the valves now.
