Hi the temperature was between 0 and -3 degrees c the runs I do are approx 20 miles to daughters then 20 miles back. Don’t know about miles per kwh sorry. Just seems that the range is getting less, I am driving in normal and the heater is not on high.

Hi I have had the the car from new but from the beginning of this year I have noted a marked decrease in range from 220 in cold conditions at 80% down to 170 in more or lease the same conditions, has anyone seen the same or can anyone explain what is going on, thanks

I thought the heater was for the battery compartment not the cabin. As we have lost a lot of range when the temperature is below freezing, so I thought that option would keep the batteries at a constant temperature thus increasing the range

So this option is not a heater for the batteries?

Thanks sl, I just read that someone with an mg4 had the same issue, but when they went into the settings they had the option to switch the heating being connected to the eco drive mode off, but I cannot see that option in the sz options do you know if there is an option?

So does that mean range is restricted in the winter or you are cold

Today we ran the car in normal mode and the heater worked. Changed to eco and it stopped heating again, maybe an issue would be good if mg could confirm
