I didn't use the bolt. Instead, when drilling the hole, i made it slightly smaller so that the thread of the camera would "screw" into the hole. It's tightly screwed in and so I didn't feel the need for a bolt

Didn't need to remove the outside sidebar. Drilled a hole where the camera is going to be places and then on the inside of the boot, i pulled of the rubber which housed the wire for the light near the boot button, and basically guided the wire from the drilled hole into there
