my next one will be a full electric I think, My MG phev has 7 years warranty on it so I will decide in 4.5 years, There will be a lot of different options by then :)
I found one that protects the fuel for up to 24 months.

Ill ask mg about that as there could an additive I can put in the petrol to counter that. I normally let it go down to quarter of a tank before I fill it again :)
Here is a photo i just took now after 1,337.1 kms and its saying 0.2l /100 kms and i still have 3/4 tank of petrol left. Nearly all my driving is in EV mode around town or to a satellite town with range of the 61kms it will do in EV mode. These are normal figures. When I go away on a trip I...
Batteries degrade when using. Going from 32 miles to 31 miles range is normal. nothing wrong with it. My 2023 phev started off at 62 kms ev range, now its at 61kms ev range so its dropped 1km in 2.5 years, Pretty good statistic, and it gets charged to full everyday
:)
We use google maps plugged into android auto in the usb port. The navigation on the car is missing a lot of streets we found. Google maps is up to date :)
Have you got the auto brake turned on ? If you have it sounds like its not releasing fast, I had a similar problem and I turned mine off and just drive it like a normal car.
I dont know what the new ones are like but my 2023 phev will only charge at 3.4kW from a public charger and up to 1.6kW plugged into the normal house plug.
try setting your temp to 19, with air from the outsde and not on auto it made a difference in mine even though its a 2023 model. I leave it on 19 all year round.
Mine is a 2023 phev and I leave my temperature on 19 deg aircon all year round and the air coming in from outside on rainy days. If no rain I just leave it on normal recirc, aircon demists the window a lot better than heat, If it mists up when starting driving I just push the piano demist button...
We have a 2023 MG HS PHEV and a 2010 Toyota Prius.
The PHEV averages in between fillups 0.8 litres per 100kms.
The Prius hybrid averages 6.5 litres per 100kms.
Both are used around town and out of town trips.
If we do just around town running using the 63km electric range the phev gets down to...
yes very true, the reason why I took the cap off for 10 mins as I had only just filled it up and overfilled it slightly (went past the first cutout ) it was strange though as once the breakdown callout cleared the codes, I drove home the rest of the way with no errors. then when I started it...
