We went up to auckland yesterday 120 kms away in my 2023 phev. On the way back the engine fault light came on. As it was yellow I kept going to home and went to the dealer this morning to have it checked. They tested it and found the O₂ sensor was faulty.. Exactly the same as what happened one year ago but the AA breakdown service cleared the error codes so I could drive home. This time MG could see the error codes and found the fault and it was the O₂ sensor. Its being replaced under warranty once they get the part and I'm still able to drive it around now.

My engine light is on and they gave me appointment after 2 weeks. Still I can drive with error light on.
yes, they told me the same. The light was yellow not red so I could keep driving it.. it took 1 week to get an appointment, but when they got the part it was the wrong one, there are two types of sensor apparently. so they ordered the right one and they got it fitted it, took 1 hour only and its been fine since then.
