cheers, yeah I've gone ahead and ordered a used motor and linkage from eBay... will either DIY or get a local mechanic to fit. Pretty disappointing that it would break like that. Never had that happen with any other cars. Just circling back. the ebay replacement sorted the problem. Cost £80...

My MG5 (2022, non facelift) has an issue with front wipers and washers not operating. I can hear a "relay" clicking when operating the stalk. Fuse 30 under the bonnet is not blown. I believe this happened in the recent heavy snow/frost, which may have jammed the wipers. Nearest dealer is...
