Surely if the battery is watertight is doesn't need to be replaced. The garage agreed and said it's the connectors which are damaged. It can't take £22k to replace connectors can it? BTW, you can get a whole 2023 ZS EV for about £15k

Since it's a bug and there are no OTA updates (which were promised by MG but never delivered) and there is no way for customer updates it seems reprehensible that they can make a charge to do this. Even my £20 radio gets free firmware updates.

I have nearly the same setup, except a Zappi charger. I never touch the MG charge settings or the Zappi settings, I just use the Intelligent Octopus Go app. Using this, you just set the charge you want to add and the time you want it ready by. You're then not restricted to the 2330-0530 time...
