I did my first long journey this week (320 miles each direction) in my 2024 Trophy Connect SR so had to stop a number of times to recharge. Despite choosing 150kW and 300kW charging points the car only charged a maximum of 42Kw, much of the time significantly less yet I read on some other posts...

Going along in my car (ZS EV Trophy Connect SR) occasionally it makes a 'ding' noise. No messages on the screen, no icons change, no lights flash. I haven't a clue what it's for. Does anyone else get this or know what it means?

It doesn't matter what other devices you use Apple for since it's the phone you connect to the car. If you prefer an app which doesn't work properly that's fine, your choice.

ABRP was only recommended on the other thread because the user is in 'camp Apple', so refuses to use the acknowledged best mapping app. Google maps can locate EV charging stations and filter by capacity/type. Zapmap is also a nice tool for finding charging stations. Not sure why you want to...

An alternative might be to use Google maps? Works fine on mine. I've never heard of ABRP though so can't help there.

Hi Jason - yes, it was Hendy MG in Poole (I'm in West Moors). They did replace the whole steering unit under warranty but it took a bit of persuasion for them to agree there was an issue. Mine made a distinctive clunk only when turning right.

Most of the time it's ok, I get the normal radio graphic with a channel on it and the source, play and channel buttons work as you describe. But look at the picture above - do you ever see that weird radio picture? When that picture is shown on the screen then none of the touch buttons work...
