Thanks for the information. My QUBEV home charger has switching available for 6, 13, 16 and 32 amp charge rates. I've been using the 16amp (3.68 kW at 230 volts) for regular charging; looks like it will be OK for a full balancing charge.
I have always used the granny charger to do a battery balance (every 2 months approx.) Now I'm on time-of-use electricity tariff, I would prefer to use the home AC charger to get the job done during the lowest electricity rate (9am to 3 pm). Any views on speed of charging and battery life?
Yes, MY21 ZSEV also. I used a silicone spray into the slot between the mirror and its base. Some leaked onto the door over time but was easy to clean off. No problems since the treatment.
Has anyone else had this issue? Seems to be happening more often with my MY21 ZSEV.
If I give the driver's side mirror a whack and re-lock it usually folds, but I wouln't think that the best solution!
You may just have a dud battery that should be replaced under warranty. Mine gave heaps of trouble from time of delivery and was replaced and installed under warranty (at home by the mobile suport team) after 2 weeks.
The radio and Apple Carplay seem to be susceptible to extenal electronic signals. My remote garage door opener when activated (attached to the dashboard with bluetac) sometimes mutes the radio/music for about 30 seconds. Occasionally it causes a phone call to be made on my mobile via Apple...
That exactly happened to me, about to leave my home. When I took my foot off the brake (unconsciously) and pressed the Start/Stop button it turned off. Waited 10 seconds and it re-started correctly.
I have the Ottocast Wireless Carplay Adapter for iPhone use. Has both WiFi and Bluetooth. Left permanently in the USB socket under the centre console, and doesn't trouble the 12V battery, even though it seems to be always on.
