That exactly happened to me, about to leave my home. When I took my foot off the brake (unconsciously) and pressed the Start/Stop button it turned off. Waited 10 seconds and it re-started correctly.

Have also forgotten to close the flap a couple of times. No warning from ZSEV 2021 model. No damage, but these were only short runs.

iSmart app doesn't work on '21 ZSEV. This only happens at two specific locations, and happens every time. Keys work fine everywhere else. Also, my remote garage door opener occasionally turns off the radio when activated about 25 metres away (as well as opening the door!).

Same for me. First (2 year) service due in April 2023. However, this EV mainly has done short trips, and we don't get mud on the rear camera!

re: MG app. Only works on later MG ZS EV models, not on the 2021 Essence.

On my car the plates were screwed on firmly by the dealer, as required by regulation in Western Australia. Double sided sticky tape would not pass muster!

I bought from Amazon Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone - 2022 Upgrade Wired to Wireless Apple Carplay Dongle - 5GHz WiFi, Low Latency, Easy-to-lnstall, Plug & Play Cost AU$99, but it has worked well. Fitted in the space next to the USB sockets and left plugged in - minimal drain on the battery.

I agree about flakey batteries waiting delivery as a new car. Mine lasted a week, then gave similar problems. Fortunately we have mobile battery replacement service, replaced at home.

Does anyone else have trouble with early morning sunlight reflecting off the faux leather dash top on to the windscreen? I have laid a piece of black cotton fabric over the surface in front of the driver. Not the most elegant, but roblem sorted.
