    Cyberster Sat Nav

If you look at the right end of the blue bar on the top of the map screen when a route is planned there is a loudspeaker icon. You click on it to turn voice on or off. If it has a line through it, it is switched off.

MG Pilot Speed Limiter defaults to 'off' at every car 'Start'/'Ready' power on

Yes I can keep an accurate speed myself. The cruise control is noticeably worse than every other car I have owned with cruise control. I used to fit cruise control as aftermarket kits back in the 1980s and have had cruise control on just about every car since and use it a lot, even back then you...

MG Pilot Speed Limiter defaults to 'off' at every car 'Start'/'Ready' power on

It’s obviously possible to retain the settings as it stays on if you have only switched off when charging the car. I have stopped using the cruise control completely now and only use speed limit as the cruise control is diabolical at keeping the speed smoothly, it drops by 1mph then accelerates...

    Cyberster Dashcam Success

you need to pull the rubber door seal off a bit and remove the plastic side panel. There is a screw under there that needs to be removed

I seemed to hold them for ages, but in reality probably about 30 seconds for the screens to go blank. I had just stopped at roadworks traffic lights and was worried I wouldn't manage in time, but it worked OK before the lights changed, so probably a couple of minutes at most.

I must be lucky with mine. I just put my foot on the brake and the seat moves into my pre saved position (memory 1). If the drivers door is already closed it moves as soon as I hold the break pedal down. If the door is open, I hold my foot on the brake and close the door and the seat moves into...

Yep, that's my experience also: depress the brake pedal to 'switch' everything on, although mine also works even if I've already closed the door.

Real world consumption in Cyberster (GT)

Cyberster Trophy mileage update. After a Day driving around the Cotswolds yesterday (no motorways) and using sport mode most of the time, stopped off at the petrolhead hangout Caffeine and Machine near Stratford upon Avon and saw some interesting cars and got to show off mine, I charged...

Spotted my first Cyberster on the road

Just saw my first one actually driving on the road on M4 going eastbound just before Chieveley around 18:30 ish tonight, I was going westbound, Camden Grey, both of us with the roof down in the glorious sunshine and 25Degree heat. Also had just passed a Ford Focus with the front end blazing away...

    DashCam hardwire

Its not the requirement for power when switched off that motivated me to hardwire my Dashcam, but the neater installation. The Dashcam I just fitted to my Cyberster had a Cigarette Lighter plug which I have had in a Mercedes for several Years, but the Cyberster only has a Cigarette Lighter...

Screens Like Post 39 from Robertoba345 when reversing. You don't need any other info when reversing except a good rear view. Hood open or close all the way without having to hold the button down, also from Key fob because if someone parks too close so you can't open the drivers door you are...

    DashCam hardwire

See the photo above in post no 6, I used the rightmost vertical one of the 3 fuses at the top left. It was the only one not in use. The 3 vertical fuses are numbered 44, 45 and 46. The rightmost one is unused. It is marked as fuse 46 in one diagram I saw and 44 in another. The 3 pronged fuses...

    Cyberster Dashcam Success

I would also prefer that but the dash cam has a 5volt USB connector so you need a converter so that would need to go somewhere. I couldn’t work out how to remove the lights. I would love to do that to route the wire anyway so if anyone knows how to get the lights out please let me know. I tried...

    DashCam hardwire

I used the 2 prong connector and it works fine if you have an unused slot like I had. If you need to use an occupied fuse slot you’ll need the 3 pin adapter

    Cyberster Dashcam Success

Thanks for that, I didn't see those pages before when I checked the manual I had downloaded. I love the fact that they have it pictured sideways and this sentence: 2 Remove the driver side knee trim panel to access the fuse box. As if anyone should know how to do that, and how are you (or an...
