Just had a look at the Owner Manual that you can access from the app and it is showing version 3.0 (top right of the first page). I can only find version 1.0 on the MG UK web site. Does anyone know where you can download the latest version from as a pdf?
Agree with @CybersterWatcher, however, many reviewers are comparing the Cyberster to ICE cars, which is unfair, as we will see when Porsche, Audi, etc start bringing out EV roadsters. Porsche have already delayed the EV Boxster due I suspect to the challenges of a hefty battery.
All credit to...
Just tried turning Battery Heating on from the app (from EV Management), after a circle of dots the battery heating does not start. Have tried restarting the app but still no success. Can anyone get battery heating to work from the app? Am using an iPhone with iOS 26.0.1 and the latest version...
I have a GT that started to make a whine just before we got onto the motorway a few weeks ago, I carried on with the journey at around 70mph and the sound disappeared after about 10 miles. I wondered whether something got wrapped around the drive shaft and worked its way off. If it is not going...
I have the "Low-temperature pop-up reminder" enabled.
I have the "Intelligent power battery heating" disabled, will experiment with this over the winter.
Now that temperatures are starting to drop in the UK, any advice from Cyberster owners who have driven in cold weather? At what temperature would preconditioning the battery be recommended and how long does it take to precondition?
@Chongma SmartRepairs just visited and they will not work with tri-coat paints. I called ChipsAway and whilst they do tri-paint colours they don't do Dynamic Red (apparently the paint they need is too expensive and they don't use it enough). Looks like a trip to the body shop!
I have managed to scratch my bumper and have a smart repair booked. Has anyone any experience of smart repairs on a Dynamic Red (tri-coat paint). Damage is not in a prominent position but I understand tri-coat paint repairs can be challenging?
Yep, I did the same thing. Whilst not ideal, adjusting the steering wheel helps. It is the left-hand display that is still problematic for me. I recall reading that yoke steering wheels are available, hopefully this will be an option in the future.
Well, I have had the Cyberster for two months now and can truly say it is up there as one of the most fun cars I have owned. There are a few design issues that hopefully will be addressed in future versions but none deal breakers.
The suspension is one area that really needs addressing and...
I finally got to try this and works with my GT, thanks for sharing. My car is going to be unused for 10 weeks and will be using this trick, shame there is not an easier solution ie simply using the parking brake switch 😊
