    Parallel parking the Cyberster?

I have found it easier to park the Cyberster than my TT RS. You can use the cameras or tilt your wing mirrors. Would be nice if mirrors could be set to tilt automatically when reversing, some cars do this.

Cyberster doors not opening on a slight slope

Depends on which way the slope is, as I understand only an issue if left or right side of the car is elevated (across the car as described above), not front or back. When I had the issue the angle was about 20º. Suggest you arrange a test drive. Hope it works out for you, a lovely car 😊

EV Management on app not working?

I did the unbinding and reinstalled but still cannot get EV Management to work. I can live without it but shame that MG software is so flaky and letting the brand down.

EV Management on app not working?

Will try unbinding, reinstalling the app and start again.

EV Management on app not working?

I can not get EV Management to work on the iPhone app (latest iOS and app). The home page of the app works, as does Vehicle Status, but EV Management just times out. I have tried restarting the app and restarting my iPhone (iPhone 16). I just get a message "The request timed out please try...

Why do so many journalist complain about the handling

Just to be clear, I was not comparing to the MX5 as such, I was referring to its place in the market (EV version of the MX-5 ). The MX5 and Cyberster are clearly not equivalent.

Tips for driving in cold weather

Was 2C this morning and I used Battery Heating (from the app) to heat up the battery for 20 minutes for only a 2 mile drive. Car was outside for 1.5 hours and battery still warm enough when I returned (Battery Heating would not enable). I guess when driving in the cold a good idea to manually...

Tips for driving in cold weather

The temperatures have plummeted in the U.K. and I drove last night with an outside temperature of 0 C. Car was fine but I noticed the Forward Collision Assist System indicator light was on, not sure why, disappeared this morning (parked in a garage). Would be interesting to hear about your...

Why do so many journalist complain about the handling

What I find frustrating/annoying is that journalists are comparing the first of its kind to existing ICE vehicles such as the Z4, TT etc. rather than acknowledging that this is the first EV roadster. Having a heavy battery under a car is going to be a challenge for all manufacturers looking at...

    Thatcham Category of Cyberster Alarm?

I contacted MG who wrote back to say it is Thatcham Research approved but did not confirm the category. I found the information on the Thatcham web site, it is Cat. 1.

    MG Cyberster Manual 3.0

Just had a look at the Owner Manual that you can access from the app and it is showing version 3.0 (top right of the first page). I can only find version 1.0 on the MG UK web site. Does anyone know where you can download the latest version from as a pdf?

Is this your experience? Top Gear Long Term Review

Agree with @CybersterWatcher, however, many reviewers are comparing the Cyberster to ICE cars, which is unfair, as we will see when Porsche, Audi, etc start bringing out EV roadsters. Porsche have already delayed the EV Boxster due I suspect to the challenges of a hefty battery. All credit to...

    Battery Preconditioning

Just tried turning Battery Heating on from the app (from EV Management), after a circle of dots the battery heating does not start. Have tried restarting the app but still no success. Can anyone get battery heating to work from the app? Am using an iPhone with iOS 26.0.1 and the latest version...

    Transmission Whine

I have a GT that started to make a whine just before we got onto the motorway a few weeks ago, I carried on with the journey at around 70mph and the sound disappeared after about 10 miles. I wondered whether something got wrapped around the drive shaft and worked its way off. If it is not going...
