Have just heard back from MG, they advised that it’s not recommended to mix speed ratings on an axle and advised to stick with the same speed ratings around the vehicle. Kwik Fit advised it would be OK. Guess I stick with MG advice but not sure what the issue would be 🤷🏻‍♂️

The car was at the MG dealer. I asked them if it could be repaired, I took them for their word.

Just shy of £290 fitted. Big but, I have to wait until Wednesday before they can get hold of the tyre.

Was a nail and tyre needs replacing. Got the price 🤢 Any guesses?

I have heard back from MG, they advised that you can order the tyres directly from an MG dealership. You can also use Y rates tyres or W rated tyres as these are the speed ratings for the vehicle and does not seem to matter if you mix on an axle.

I asked the question this morning and waiting for a reply, will update when/if I get a reply. Sounds like I am the first member of the group to get a puncture, no prizes for that honour 😊

Interesting, if you go through the UK Pirelli site you will not find this tyre, only the 102Y. If you go to the international site you do find the 102W. Does anyone know of a UK supplier of the 102W!?

These are both Y rated, the ones on the Cyberster are W rated...

Possibly, but am curious to know where I can buy a replacement if I do need it... Thanks for pointing out the postcode, have put a dummy one in.
