Well it seems the person who proposed leaving it till the next day was right lol.. all working again this morning after leaving it for about 14hours overnight. Maybe something reset itself? But if it reoccurs I'll try the contact cleaner or fuse before booking it in.

Yeah I know that will most likely be the solution, just always takes ages to book and they often don't know fix or have to wait for China to authorise an upgrade etc.. which took 3 weeks on my last issue lol

I heard this fixes lots of niggles but never done it and heard it can cause other random errors? Might let dealer do this instead rather than blaming me for anything lol

It's on both keys though, and 1 doesn't even get used, would love it to be a quick fix but seems unlikely to be this but suppose could try

Hi, my MG4 has been working mostly fine for the last year, until today when it decided to stop locking and locking using the door handle buttons on outside. This happens with both keys and on both sides of the car. The boot still opens when fob is nearby though! Any ideas? I can use the key to...

I can second the EVfloormats, brought some from there a couple of weeks ago after my fabric ones wore a hole through and fit perfectly and look much sturdier.

I assume you have checked for any charging schedules in the car/app or charger itself? As mine will go green for a few secs before pausing until 11:30pm otherwise (when my schedule starts, and sometimes forget i turned it on when I charge at work...)

Thanks everyone that's helpful. I had changed mine to flashing only in car but wasn't even sure how to make it work. 30x sounds alot! But least that matches what mine was doing then.

This evening I thought I may have knocked one of the buttons on the key fob in my pocket, so I pressed the lock button again on the key fob and noticed my hazards started flashing. I though this may be useful if trying to find a car if it flashes a couple of times, but it seemed to keep going...

I found a button on the sat navigation that looked like a lightning bolt when I wanted a charger on a long trip the other day and it found me a list of chargers on the way to my destination, which I could add to the trip. Seemed to work well enough but wasn't automatic.

Yeah I saved about £200 on my dealers service plan quote (£600ish originally for 3yr with MOT iirc) by just waiting 2 days and doing it on the MG website instead with the same dealer! Just be sure they use the right reference if you pay it up in one go rather than monthly (they should knock off...
