Hmmm, I'm not convinced, the fob battery read 2.99v. That should at least have worked in the emergency position. I suspect it was the reconnection of the 12v battery that did the trick.

Sounds like the boot isn't closing properly. Is there any adjustment on the hinges?? If the hinge bolts have come a little loose it could be out of alignment.

Different to my MG4 SE I use OPD all the time and regen braking is the same from 9% to 90%, (I haven't gone under 9%).

It's state of charge, you need space in the battery for the regen electrons. You don't get full regen until about 90%
