Although I've just moved to a "googled" Android phone (after all my banking apps started to crash), I ran the iSmart on a non-googled FairPhone 3+ for the better part of 6 months. @stevedee are you also running MicroG? I never had a problem on the FP3 with iSmart. Clearly YMMV . . .

We only do road trips once or twice a year. So when we're on the out-bound leg, I'll usually be looking for a charger at around 20%. However on the return leg, where I know with 100% certainty I can park and charge on the front drive . . . well, then I'll drive it down to 1%. Or less . . . . :cool:

We really should tell @dx4100 what everyone in the EV community calls those gauges that estimate range. Doesn't matter if you drive an MG, a VW ID or a Tesla . . . they are a GOM. Guess-O-Meter And its almost always . . a bad guess.

I've had this happen once. BT only, no AA/CP involved. I didn't think to try to swap the infotainment screen to "phone mode". Only seen it the one time, but I don't often use BT - who calls anyone these days . . .

I too can report mixed results. My wife's Pixel (no case) charges perfectly, but my work provided Samsung (in a case) . . . charges sometimes, stops other times. I can't be bothered to take it out of the case, but I suspect that would improve the results.

There is no front facing radar on the MGS5 - sadly. Only backward for rear cross traffic alert and rear cross traffic break. Forward is vision only.
