Hi Tonyrome, I’ve got to agree, I was actually looking through the system yesterday as I do quite a bit of European driving and I think your right, I couldn’t find any adjustments for the other side of the road. Perhaps we will have to stick on the old fashioned headlamp deflectors !

Hi Nik, Can confirm that preconditioning the car appears not to set the alarm off. However on last nights charge ( using octopus scheduling) gave no problems at all ( and no alarms): perhaps it was just a gremlin!

Mine started switching to dark mode for a couple of days but tonight decided not to. I think I’ll do it manually until we get an update

I’ve had mine a month now and yes there are a few niggling issues ( mainly around software ) but it’s a bloody lovely car to drive and really comfortable. It’s cold at the moment but on mixed driving I’m still getting around 3.2, I expect that come spring that will probably go up around 3.4/5...

I’ve just come out of an enyaq into my im6, two completely different cars. The enyaq is quite good but it also has its own software problems ( but at least you do get OTA ). The build quality is pretty good but the im6 beats it hands down for comfort and driving.

Unfortunately I haven’t got a clue, if you look in the car settings it just says “ up to date” without giving a release number

That’s a bit of a worry if we only get an update for the car perhaps once a year when it goes in for service !

I have no idea but it’s a good point. I’ll plug the car in and let it do its thing, then in the morning I’ll ask the mg app / Ohme to warm the car up - I’ll post tomorrow with my findings

Hi Nik It seems to have settled down now, however I’ve discovered that if I open the mg app on my phone whilst the car is plugged in ( but not charging due to its schedule) the alarm triggers. - if I’m plugged in I don’t touch the mg app and I think all is fine ( 🤞)

Year 4 looks a bit frightening if it’s correct !

Think I have to agree, the separate screen on the passenger side looks a little odd to me as well. I assume that’s for CarPlay etc, good luck touching anything from the drivers side. I doo like some of the other changes though ( but I’m not convinced of the front) 🥺

Mine was set to auto but I had to put it to dark to get it to change. I’ll put it back to auto and try again tonight.

Your right again MG Clive Having received my mats today ( the replacement order), five minutes ago Evri delivered the original order ( all be it with the packaging a little worse for ware), it’s like a bus service, nothing at all then two at the same time. I think I’ll keep them as spares 👍

Finally got my mats guys, pics below. But I think they’ve put the fixings for the fronts the wrong way around ( I’ll have a go at turning them later !

That’s just crazy, I know adding a second driver can reduce premiums, but swapping you and the other half around and getting an even better rate is utter madness - someone needs to look at what these underwriters are doing.

So it’s been confirmed ! Evri have indeed lost my mats, a new set will now be made and sent out “next day” by dpd at car mats cost - can’t argue with that, I’ve asked them as well if they can supply a boot mat like Big Bears ( and of course ,how much given the hassle with the car mats) well...
