I thought I’d tried that and ended up putting the call on hold - I’ll have another go, cheers.

I’ve had a good look Mike and I can’t find any way to end a call when using CarPlay except for touching the screen in CarPlay to end. I’ve tried all the combinations using the right scroll wheel and all I could do was put the call on hold. Maybe someone else can enlighten us. !

Yeah, it’s a bit weird. Mine’s sort of Chinese with an American twang ! No option to change voice ( yet)

I’d like to change the MG/ IM6 lettering but can’t find it in black. If I can’t find them I will probably just remove the old ones. The black logo just sticks on over the top of the original ones ( perfect fit). I appreciate they are not to everyone’s liking - but I do !

Hi Mike, my Skoda enyaq was the same. If I connected CarPlay the car Bluetooth would disconnect ( it would only allow one Bluetooth connection at a time), I use CarPlay a lot so it doesn’t bother me. ( long press on the right side wheel on the steering wheel activates CarPlay / Siri).

Hi Salty, I have no problem with the quality of the sound system, it just appears ( to me) that there is a problem with the radio - it just isn’t up to the job with regard to picking up a decent signal.

I’ve had a good look around the system and can’t find anything I can change for region / country with regard to radio signal. It’s strange, if you use search on DAB it finds and lists all the usual available stations - it just has a mare trying to actually play any with reasonable clarity.! You...

Hi Nik, I’m pleased to hear that yours is working well. Mine unfortunately, as stated above produces great sound through Spotify, car play etc, but the DAB & FM radio is appalling, if yours is working well it may well just be an Ariel problem with my car.

The sound system is pretty good but is let down by ( in my opinion) an absolutely rubbish radio. DAB fails to get a decent signal and reverts to FM which to be honest isn’t much better. I’m not sure if it’s an Ariel or software problem - but it needs sorting. Spotify, CarPlay etc plays perfectly...

Had mine for a month now, ride is superb at all speeds. On motorway it’s silent and drives well. It’s a heavy car on cross country roads the car still performs well ( even on poor road surfaces).

Yep, had it a month now. Didn’t purchase from my local dealer as I got a better price from the dealership in Leeds. When you ask MG for an online quote you have to put your local dealer in the system - perhaps that is what drives the quote.

Hi Salty 1st year the car insurance will pay, years 2-4 gap will pay for either settlement cost, invoice cost or replacement car ( whichever is the greatest). I think it’s a good deal.

I’m getting around 3.2 ( on a run) , not bad for the cold weather. Is your 2.4 based on short hops? If so it may be because of the temperature & car warming. If I do a short trip ( 10-15 mls) I get around the same as your 2.4

That’s a bu**ger Nick, I was actually referring to the car wifi connection not your phone, can you connect the car to your home wifi and try again - if it is a car wifi problem that might get you reconnected ( got to be worth a try), if not it sounds like a dealer visit 🥺

It does look as though you don’t save anything from entering a service plan - it might be cheaper to just pay as you go ! ( unless someone can confirm it’s cheaper under a service contract).

Sounds a worry, make sure you have good signal before you try again. Hopefully it will resolve and save you a trip back to the dealer ( mind you, it’s a good excuse to go for another drive).

Just check that when you have to accept that you have a good internet connection. It could be that you are in a bad reception area. You could connect your car to your home wifi before accepting everything to ensure the data is transmitted ( worth a try)

Hi Nik I’ve not had that problem at all, did they help you to set it all up at the dealership ? You could try a hard reset but I’m not sure if that will work, failing that delete yourself and go through set-up again ( bit of a pain but may sort it). Let us know how you get on mate

Hi Nik To be honest I don’t think you need one, the space behind the rear seats is so small you probably wouldn’t even notice it. Also, if you recline the rear seats would a parcel shelf be in the way ?
