Got delivery yesterday and was promised an email with a plan the next couple of days. Will update if I get it.
It does look as though you don’t save anything from entering a service plan - it might be cheaper to just pay as you go ! ( unless someone can confirm it’s cheaper under a service contract).

In the past, inflation alone was enough to make these plans worthwhile.

I had been speaking to the dealer about the Launch Edition but, when he sent me the service costs, he didn't say they were specifically for the LE, rather for the IM6, so I think they are for all variants.

It’s strange how dealers set prices, mine has just come back with the following:
Year 1, 239.40
Year 2, 352.02
Year 3 239.40
I didn’t ask for year 4 as will probably sell it on its 4th birthday, strange how my local dealer rates are higher than yours tonyrome.
Dealer also said updates will be at the dealership for the “ foreseeable future” - not what I wanted to hear.
In any event, I’m going to shop around there are a few MG dealers in my area so I will compare prices - I naively assumed prices would be the same everywhere and that service agreements were with MG, not true apparently, service agreements are with your dealer not MG !

Have you tried the MG web site for a quote?

Do you already have your car?
Yep, had it a month now. Didn’t purchase from my local dealer as I got a better price from the dealership in Leeds. When you ask MG for an online quote you have to put your local dealer in the system - perhaps that is what drives the quote.
