You pop out the little original boot light on the lefthand side of the boot, and the wiring loom supplied piggybacks onto the original boot light connectors. It's an easy fit, and I found a video on Youtube showing the kit being fitted to a Volvo.

I got cheesed off with having to duck under the rear parcel shelf, so removed that and fitted a retractable type load cover. I have also fitted the boot surround LEDs.

I thought about running a power cable for my rear dashcam above the roof lining, but decided against it, as I was worried that the cable might interfere with the deployment of the airbags that are above the doors.

What route did you take for the cabling from the front to the back of your S5 for the rear camera ?

It's on the driver's side on the underside of the dash, just to the right of the centre console. Stick your hand under there and you can feel where it's located. I used a mirror and a torch to find it when I was considering using the OBD2 port for a tracker.
