@Jonny5 A 71 plate model is definitely a "pre-facelift". The "facelift" MG5 (sometimes called the "version 2") was first available in either late 2022 or early 2023. Since there are no other Bluetooth phones than yours shown in the menu I think you may have to consult a dealer to help...

Agree 100%! Are we to assume, therefore, that, either MG failed to follow that standard on the earliest models, or the standard changed after the release date of those models?

Based on evidence seen here from owners of the MG5s of that type and vintage, I fear this may well be wholly correct. But it still seems very unfair to those early adopters of the car!

I have quite a "late" pre-facelift (registered March 22) and it certainly does not have 3-phase charging.

Are you sure about this? I didn't think any of the pre-facelift cars had the 11 kW charging, i.e., 3 phase. My understanding is that that feature came first to early facelift models.
