You're being much more "polite" about this than I would be! If you've paid them to do a specific job for you and it's either not been done or it's not "worked" you should be demanding either that they redo it, properly this time, or give you a full refund.

Unfortunately, I can't directly answer your question but I'm pretty sure the MG5 is not designed to tow that level of load.

Have you tried the "alternative" setting (under connection type), i.e., "Bluetooth"?

@SteveChelt The settings which @Jomarkh shows are exactly the same as mine (apart from the Bluetooth code, which I suspect is Nexas unit specific) and it works.

I assume they're local to you? Unfortunately, I'm not sure that your car would necessarily be offered at auction there, would it? Especially since, according to an earlier post, Santander seem "reluctant" to say exactly where they would place it for auction.

My PCP deal ends next March/April, with a final balloon payment of about £11,500. As things are now, that is looking like being considerably more than the car is actually worth so, if Santander will not "negotiate", I will be tempted to say "Bye bye" to the car and use the already-saved money...

This gov.uk page shows a number of similar phishing emails. This scam has actually been around for some time, apparently.
