This was fixed by following the reset procedure laid out in the manual. Push the boot all the way up to the top, then close it manually. Open it again with the boot button or fob, and it appears to recalibrate. Very relieved.
So after 3 months of trouble-free motoring it seems I have the first glitch with my ‘new’ HS PHEV. When opening the boot this morning using the key fob I noticed that it did not fully open. I have it set to the highest setting. I loaded the boot and pushed the button on the car boot to close it...
I do find there is quite a large blind spot due to the very wide A pillar and very large wing mirror. I find I’m having to take extra care at junctions and roundabouts.
Thanks. Seems rather dramatic but I'm relieved that's all it is. Had the car since July and have only put fuel in once so have never seen the message come up before.
Is this the MG ismart apps way of telling me to put petrol in. HD ‘Fuel Alert’ on the dash and this message in the app. Just dipped below 10% in the tank.
