When the car was brand new it had great instant throttle response - good acceleration pulling off from lights.
After about 2 months that has completely changed.

Wanted ask
Is that some setting that might have changed?
Is it just the car wearing in?

I also noticed the regenerative breaking, which is set on level 2, doesn't seem to slow the car down as much as it used to.

I have also noticed this with level 2 regeneration in HEV mode. Sometimes, despite level 2, there is almost no regeneration at all. I haven't recognised a pattern yet; sometimes it is stronger, sometimes it is almost imperceptible. In EV mode, level 2 always results in significantly higher regeneration, unless the battery is full.

There are some conditions where the regen will not be as strong as at other times. See this page from the manual.

Thanks, I had already read that. I've only been driving in EV mode for the last two months and the behaviour of the recuperation was always the same in level 2. Except when the battery was full. But now in HEV mode with the combustion engine, the behaviour is different. Sometimes there is virtually no braking effect even in level 2. Then the braking effect is back again. I haven't really figured out yet in which situations this happens.

I noticed tonight, when switching from ‘normal’ drive mode to ‘comfort’ mode that the regen jumped to ‘low’. I’m guessing that’s not you problem?

No, according to the display, it is still on level 2, but even on a 13% downhill slope, there is virtually no braking effect. I have not yet identified a pattern. This does not happen in pure EV mode.
