I had a knocking over bumps which was the suspension. It was fixed under warranty. It sounded the same as bushes on a previous car. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to query what they did this time. It started only a few months after owning the car. Top marks to Brechin MG for sorting it out.
You can activate the KERS 3 from about 97%. Full deceleration won't be available until under 80%. It's to do with battery protection. Its the same when you are charging the car from a rapid charger. The charge rate is dramatically reduced from 80%. So for the same reason its quicker to jump...
Thanks, I may have forgotten I was in Eco when I did the test. I have had closer to 5kw since. The weird thing is that I have not been in eco and really struggled to heat the cabin on occasion. Other times it is roasting. Driving in to work I have had to put the temp up to max to get any heat...
Hi, I was wondering if people could post the voltage/amps at rest with heating turned off and then with heating on at max. I'm only getting 3kw and it really is struggling to get the cabin warm. I am wondering if I am missing a "bar" on the heater. I got the car in March but only had a few...
Yep. It’s working great. I have a combination of solar charging and cheap rate electricity at night. I’ve also got some code to just enter the battery % and it will set up the required number of hours charging in the cheap times to hit 80%. That’s through the zappi api. It’s a very flexible...
I charge from a zappi on a timer. It worked fine for the first 90 days or so then started missing the second night charge. I have economy 10 so have multiple times with the cheap rate.
It started missing occasionally and then got worse and worse to the point of even plugging it in would not...
Just be aware that when you do that you are causing breakers to switch at full load. Normally a charger will ramp the current draw down before switching off. My old leaf for instance was only rated for about 60 removals at full load.
I've had a Zappi for a few days. It also has inbuilt protection against earth faults so you don't need an earth rod. That can save quite a bit on the install. I also have a small 60 Amp fuse in the house. It monitors the household usage so that we don't exceed the fuse rating which is good as...
Another major question for me is does it keep heating whilst plugged in to the 50kw charger. Having my family freezing their n*** off whilst waiting for 80% at one of the remote chargers inScotland isn't very appealing. Does anyone know if it will continue to charge whilst plugged in to a...
