I'm having the same issue as you. Been back to the dealer twice so far and still no resolution, car gets a clean bill of health each time and they say the software is up to date. Yet, it still won't stop at 80%. They think it's something to do with the App over-riding the Infotainment system but...

As an up-date - scheduled charging and battery percent limit setting do not work for me. Excite model (same as UK SE) but with LR battery. Brought it back to dealer for health check and review (160 mile round trip), results inconclusive. Car got clean bill of health but they're not sure why...

Have been advised to talk to Service and Warranty team. If I go in to the SmartApp during charging, I can stop the charge so looks like some kind of software glitch in the car system??

As an up-date and after a bit more investigation - No matter what percentage I set the car to stop at, it tells me the end time and range upon completion will be the same!??? No difference between 50% and 100%. Screenshot of software version added for info.

My CarPlay wired connection is very unpredictable. Flashes on and back off when I plug in. Have to repeatedly un plug and plug back in, eventually it stays on! Frank Keane MG Up-date Got another call yesterday (no mention of the previous call) to arrange pick up of my car early July! Apparently they can handover 7 cars a day and the first two weeks were already fully booked up. So only a coupe of weeks to wait!
