Hi Dino, same model as mine - if you can get your hands behind the wheel you could pinch the clips together which would make it easy to remove but there’s the brakes in the way. I have refitted the trims with the broken clips and they fit well and seem secure for now. I tried for ages trying...
Must be - these have 5 clips on the back which fit between the spokes on the alloy. Real bugger to get off - like I said, the tyre fitter from ATS was going to reject the job as he couldn’t shift them.
Hi all,
Anyone else got these in their car instead of alloys? ATS came out yesterday to put new tyres on the front and couldn’t get the trims off so we’re about to refuse the jobs when I said that I would remove them. Ended up having to use a pry bar and half of the clips broke off each trim...
Yeah, my work phone has all app type things blocked so can’t use air play. I keep raising this point at work about taking calls when driving and hoping that it becomes policy not to receive them. Sadly, managers expect to be able to reach us 24 hours a day🥴
After 9 months of owning my 5 I have to say that the one thing that really annoys me is that when using the sat nav (car used for business journeys daily and receive a lot of phone calls when driving) and the phone rings, half of the screen is taken up by a bar at the top half of the screen...
Last few weeks passengers haven’t been able to get out of the car - I’ve switched off the auto lock feature which has sorted the issue but obvs should be able to auto lock. Anyone else had this?
I generally don’t have a problem except for Shell chargers. I was at one last week and it started charging so I went for a drink and came back and it had stopped. Seems that whoever is charging with the same machine can stop charging by pressing the on screen button. I pressed it to stop mine...
My 24 plate had a hiccup a couple of weeks ago - stopped to charge on way home and at 85% or so I unplugged and then when I pressed the start button the HV battery warning came on and it wouldn’t start. Took me a while to work out that if I stood outside and locked it for 5 minutes it seemed to...
It was just easier to charge to 100 whilst in Cheltenham rather than go off course to charge again on the way back to Sheffield. Yeah, the wind yesterday won’t have helped🥴. Like I said, I think the car is great on local work jobs but when I’m on longer trips it can be a pain. The petrol car...
I’ve noticed in the last week or so that on a full charge the range on my FL has plummeted to the point that it is getting impractical as a company car where I sometimes do a 200 mile round trip. In summer I would have about 30% battery left after 200 miles. Did 140 miles yesterday and was down...
Anyone else using BP Pulse home charger? Had a mate with it the last few days and today the bloody thing has just been flashing through all the lights which means it is updating or something. Not been able to charge and tried calling their helpline which has an answer message saying that there...
