Out of curiosity, how did you run the cable up to the camera? Was it much of an embuggerance to get it properly hidden?

I think I got lucky. I've just sold my PFL after 5½ years with the original 12V battery still going strong. I'm now in an MGS6 and just getting my head round the tech.

If that's internet advertising, try Vivaldi browser. It has built in ad and tracking blocking and no AI. I switched from Brave, which was actually not too bad but Vivaldi is even better.

There's FOUR fuseboxes in the S6. See manual, page 313. Fuse box layouts and fuse allocations follow, to page 322. No USB power port for a dash cam on the rear view mirror mount seems a monumental oversight. I wonder who signed off for that.
