The problem with ACC (on the MG4) is it accelerates far too aggressively. It should be tuned to match mode the car is in (Eco/Normal/Sport etc). Or, (like with most of my moanings) be similar to Hyundai (and other cars) where acceleration pickup is customisable. I still use it, as I’m lazy. But...
I have misread what this thread is all about. I thought you were saying the built in one sends you round in circles (which mine does). I'm using the built in nav, not Android.
I've been sent round in circles a couple of times with the built in MG4 sat nav over the last 12 months, however I am using it most days so this does increase chances of getting muddled.
The instructions it gave for leaving M25 to join M23 last week was a joke (both ways). It also sent me on...
I often have to refresh the front screen multiple times to get the current state of charge. Often it will just show ---.
I don't have many problems with no communication to car, but it's certainly hit and miss whether it will unlock car when commanded (over net not Bluetooth key).
Oooh, this sounds like a good challenge, although needs to be over a decent amount of miles not less than 10 ;).
I'll give it a go tomorrow over 50 miles or so and see what i can get
I’d recommend the Ioniq 38 over the MG4 for such low mileage personally. The Ioniq has proven a very reliable car and one of the most efficient EVs made. It also has bigger boot, better access and an all around much airier feel inside. The driver aids are far superior too. Everything apart from...
Thankfully I near enough always get between 135-142kw on mine after being connected to charger for a minute or so for the bulk of the charging curve.
Unplugged this morning after getting 32.77kWh in 15 mins. Equates to average rate of 131kw for session. Makes these longer journeys much more...
My last car was an Ioniq 38. Over more than 55,000 miles it averaged about 4.5mi/kwh. They can easily get over 5mi/kwh average in summer (not at motorway speeds though).
On my MG4 the average across the last 25,000 miles is around 3.5mi/kwh.
Unfortunately, charging speed is problematic on the...
Yeah, but they are the parts that are least likely to fail in the first place. It's a duckin' and diving' warranty full of "teeth sucking from the dealers" even when a part in theory should be covered.
No he said he drives even slower!! So should be getting better economy (hence why I chose 60mph as this would be worst case based on the information given), and at 60mph 2.6mi/kwh is lousy and out of the ordinary over such a long distance.
I have NEVER got 2.6m/kwh over such a long distance...
I've got loads of stone chips on mine (somehow more in less than a year than other cars i've had for four years) and luckily none of the spots have started to rust yet.
I'll give it a go and see if I can remove it later.
'd rather give the dealer the unit in pieces and show them how i did it so they can separate the new flap and place my old colour plate on, rather than have a new flap sprayed and potentially stick out like a sore thumb.
