MG4 Security alarm is deactivated. You can now drive the vehicle (***846) safely

I had the exact same issue with the iSmart app. The only thing that worked for me was unpairing the app from the car by tapping the garage icon at the top of the main screen, then pairing it again using the car’s QR code. Since then, I haven’t received any more alerts.

    MG4 Software Update Thread

I have the same model. Installing R38 or R40 only makes sense if you also update the HVAC and FICM modules via SIPS. It improves temperature control for the A/C, but you’ll lose the pull-down menu in CarPlay and Android Auto.

    MG4 Software Update Thread

If you had R38 installed along with the SIPS update, then no. I already had R38 and then installed R40, checked with SIPS and everything was up to date. Back when I was still on R38, I had to re-pair Bluetooth with my phone every time I used CarPlay, but now with R40 it stays connected. Yeah...

Yeah, it’s the same for everyone. Gotta refresh manually like 2-4 times before the data finally shows up.

    iSmart Update to 3.0

Try to unlink the car from the app and pair it again with the qr code, it worked for me. But my problem was an alarm notification every time I open the app since the update. It can work also for the window notification.

    iSmart Update to 3.0

I had a similar issue after this update, as soon as I opened the app, it immediately showed a “security alert” notification, followed right after by “security alert cancelled”. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didn’t help. Then I unlinked the car from the app and paired it...

I created an AI with all the information on MG4

I don't know why it gave you that error, I just tried with your exact question and here's the answer: "To manually unlock the charger on the MG4 in case it is stuck, the official procedure is as follows: Open the trunk. Locate the emergency release device near the charging port area inside the...

I created an AI with all the information on MG4

Hi everyone, sorry for the absence. I had decided to abandon the project because the system for managing custom GPT bots wasn’t suitable for creating GPTs that read from manuals. Lately, they’ve made some improvements to document reading, so I decided to recreate the project from scratch. Just a...

    iSmart Update to 3.0

Yes, before the update, the lock/unlock function worked via internet if you used the buttons on the home page, while if there was no internet, you had to go to the digital key section to do it via Bluetooth. In the new version, I tried without internet and only with Bluetooth, and it works...

If an update fails, you need to reprogram this specific module using the replacement function. Try doing this, it should work.

There is a new BMS software, but when I tried to install it, it gave me an error and didn’t start the update. I tried four times and then gave up, so I was unable to install it.

    Replacing a lost key

I programmed a third key in the ECU via SIPS in literally two minutes, but I haven’t been able to find anyone who can cut the blade. I bought the key for 25 euros on AliExpress.
