Thank you for your reply and advice. That’s annoying especially as my dealers service manager suggested I purchase a type c cable as my type A was only working intermittently. As for charging, the car has wireless charging anyway.

Hi all! I have tried to access Apple CarPlay through using my new and genuine Apple type c to lightning cable and absolutely nothing happens. I’m beginning to build a catalogue of faults with SOS lights coming on, MG smart app not binding as no QR code available. Can anyone help please?

Thank you for your reply. It is something I have thought of doing. As I said in my question, it did bind before and I have tried to start again but to no avail. I’ll contact the dealer. This is exactly my issue!
