MY MG4 has the same problem with the Knocking noises when I turn in or out of a drive way so I will try and adjust the rubber boot stoppers as suggested.
I still have to switch off and on the Carplay adaptor for Sat Nav off my iPhone so I modified a small kill switch so I no longer have to pull the dongle in and out all the time.
If you can buy different devices to extend the wifi signal and than take back to the shop the units you are not not happy with for a refund than you have picked the best Extender fit for purpose in your surroundings. Good Luck.
I decided to keep the charger and battery in simple mode so that I just plug it in let it charge and then unplug it. I have the MG four with a Tesla wall charger and decided to give up on Settings using the car or the app on the iPhone.
After all it’s just a battery and a charger.

Love this community communication set up for problem-solving.

Good luck, geriatric Joe.

I have the simple MG4 TESLA Home wall Connector installed in my garage and my MG4 Car that stops charging at different intervals of its choosing.

I set up all charging instructions...
I purchased an Apple CarPlay dongle from Temu for around $50 Australian, it only works by plugging and unplugging or rebooting the dongle by purchasing a USB cable with a on off switch.
It looks like the majority of these CarPlay adapters for MG 4 are problematic.
I schedule the charge times inside the MG4 Excite 51 and do not use the App, I get out of the car and lock and unlock twice using the Key Fob to stop the car charging straight away.
I have a Tesla dumb charger Installed as a wall box here in Australia.
I think there are several software bugs...
