Look around on line for a USB cable that will switch off and on the car play dongle but it must be a data cable not just a charge cable. Or save yourself a lot of time and headaches and have one fitted by the shop specialist and installers. Good luck, geriatric Joe. Gold coast Australia.

I purchased an Apple CarPlay dongle from Temu for around $50 Australian, it only works by plugging and unplugging or rebooting the dongle by purchasing a USB cable with a on off switch. It looks like the majority of these CarPlay adapters for MG 4 are problematic.

I schedule the charge times inside the MG4 Excite 51 and do not use the App, I get out of the car and lock and unlock twice using the Key Fob to stop the car charging straight away. I have a Tesla dumb charger Installed as a wall box here in Australia. I think there are several software bugs...

We will be offered MG 4 one pedal driving (Automatic braking) download patch in the near future. Is it a safe feature or does it stop the car suddenly and unexpectedly when driving making it a dangerous feature. Any suggestions for or against, ?
