Curious if you find a solution yourself. I agree that the technicians have difficulties to solve software issues. This heating could also be a software problem. My lawyer is negotiating with MG Europe to come to a deal for my problem. Probably next week it will be clear what they choose to do...

I'm afraid I don't understand much of this, but I do understand that this is the route MG's mechanics have to take to find a solution. I assume they did this and gave up after 10 months. This matter has now escalated to a lawsuit, unfortunately, because that costs a lot of time and money.

I completely agree, something is not right here, but one thing is sure, it is an MG and they give worldwide 7 year guarantee. The answer can only come from MG I guess!

I checked another service like this and they could not tell me where it was registered on 15-9-2023. Also RDW can not tell me, they do not have information from other countries.

He said he thought the car was from Belgium, he bought the car on 17-9-2023 and on that day the car was first registerted in The Netherlands. First registration of the car was 15-9-2023 but where I can not find out, the dutch RDW (Rijksdienst voor Wegverkeer) also do not have this information...

Thats one of the weird things, the only one who can tell this is MG and they say they do not know where from but not from Europe! For me it feels like I’m being f***ed by MG, thats why I hired a lawyer, despite the extra costs.

Unfortunately I bought from a private person without guarantee because I thought the standard 7 years guarantee from MG would cover any risk.
